Janni Goss is a conference speaker and educator with a passion for stress-reduction, sustainable well-being and smarter ageing.
Janni is a qualified physiotherapist and Feldenkrais practitioner. She is a former lecturer and clinical supervisor at the School of Physiotherapy at the Western Australian Institute of Technology/Curtin University. Her professional interests include paediatrics, development disability, woman's health, aged and palliative care, and ageing with disability. Janni is the advisor on Ageing for the National Council of Women of Western Australia.
Janni has a long-term interest in the causes and consequences of stress, and stress-reduction strategies for children and adults. JelliTime™ - is a relaxation game created by Janni for children and is used by parents, carers and teachers.
Inspired by Patch Adams, Janni added laugher to her repertoire. In November 2000 she trained as a Laughter Leader with Dr Madan Kataria (Founder President - Laugher Clubs International) and established the Cottesloe Laughter Club at the Cancer Support Association in February 2003.
Janni trained as an Accredited Laughter Yoga Teacher with Dr Kataria in 2005 and recently attended the 1st Australian Laughter Conference in Australia held in Byron Bay in August, 2006 where she received an Ambassador Award from Laughter Club International.
Janni is an internationally accredited Laughter Yoga Teacher/Trainer.
